As the year winds down, the Skyforge team wanted to take a moment to share with you some of the MMO’s defining moments of 2014. Starting with our official reveal in March, we introduced you to the world of Aelion and its immortal inhabitants. Then, we packed our gear up and headed to E3 and Gamescom where we heard firsthand how excited you were for Skyforge! Here’s a few highlights from those events:
Skyforge Introductory Trailer!
We kicked 2014 off with an epic trailer teasing some of Skyforge’s godlike features!
Skyforge soared into E3!
At E3 we gave game journalist their first hands-on experience with Skyforge and their reactions were incredibly exciting for us to see! In the end, Skyforge walked away with several ‘Best of E3’ nominations and TenTonHammer’s ‘Best of Show’ award!
Simultaneously, we also released brand new screenshots showcasing several of our classes in action! Check out a few of our favorites below!
Skyforge roared into Gamescom!
After our success at E3, the Skyforge team headed to Cologne, Germany for Europe’s largest gaming exhibition, Gamescom! There, we gave players their first opportunity to try out two new classes – the Archer and Slayer!
To cap it all off, Twitch.tv invited us to their booth at Gamescom to showcase Skyforge during a 30 minute livestream, during which we gave the audience their first glimpse of Skyforge’s god form! Check out the full recording below:
Several press outlets had extremely positive things to say about Skyforge, with many calling the MMO “ambitious”, “gorgeous” and “one of the MMO-Highlights” of Gamescom.
