Iconic filmography is not exactly commonplace on Aelion, in fact, there aren’t any known records of it ever existing. This is somewhat understandable, as there are much more important activities for Immortals to participate in and for regular citizens, what entertainment and leisurely diversions are available prove to be more than sufficient.
However, the simple pleasure of being unable to sleep after a particularly scary film is something that no one should go through life without experiencing at least once. To that end, the Skyforge team plans to rectify this immediately with the introduction of the Skyforge’s Horror Film Fest!
It’s time to confront the monster under your bed, make any spectral being well aware that you’re not afraid of them, and go head to rotting head against the ghouls in Skyforge’s Horror Film Fest!
From October 22nd to November 6th we’re inviting all members of the community to create their version of the perfect horror film! Unlike previous contests, your entry can be created either in-game or out in the real world, allowing you the freedom to create your ideal film.
After all entries have been submitted, we will take a few days to allow the judges to thoroughly review these horrific masterpieces before announcing the winners list and handing out the prizes. Speaking of prizes.....

Rules & Regulations
- Entries must be videos that are between 45 seconds and 4 minutes in length.
- You must upload the video on YouTube. No other video service will be accepted. We'd like to feature every video on our YouTube page thanks to our future Halloween Playlist.
- Video’s must be titled "Skyforge Film Fright Fest - [Character's name]"
- The following tags must be added to the video (psst, copy paste from here): "Skyforge, MMORPG, Obsidian Entertainment, Allods Team, My.com, 2015”
- The description can include any text desired, however we would recommend mentioning your character name and link back to the Aelinet Portal thread for the contest.
- We have a media kit available for free use, it contains some neat graphics to help inspire you: Using the GAME LOGO and CONTEST LOGO will certainly help your submission!
- Only entries submitted to the Aelinet Portal thread between October 22nd and November 6th will be entered into the contest.
- Multiple entries can be submitted but be advised only one entry can win per account.
- Prizes will only be awarded to the one who submitted the video, not all who participated in it. The exception to this rule is the "Horror Minion" title.
- Entries can be created using in-game or real life footage including any combination of the two.
- Entries cannot contain any material that violates the Skyforge Forum Code of Conduct, Forum Terms of Service or My.com account Terms of Service
- Any and all players are subject to disqualification at any point before, during, and after this competition for violating the Terms of Service or any of our rules of participation.
- Winners will be determined by the subjective judgement of the Skyforge team and will be announced on November 13th.
